You may have noticed a small section in the last newsletter about paying your 2024 dues. In October the lodge assembly approved a two-part dues increase where the yearly dues will go up $5.00 in each of the next two years.       Unfortunately, the dues form we would normally insert into the newsletter didn't get inserted, therefore, you will find it attached here. We have not had dues increase here at the Geneva Lodge in approx. 15 years, yet our expenses have increased greatly in that time. We felt a small increase to get to $60.00 in 2025 was appropriate. Some members may have already sent in their 2024 dues at the old $50 rate.

 

 If you can, please remit another $5.00. So, the rate will be $55.00 for 2024 (this coming year) and then $60.00 in 2025.  If you have any questions, please call the lodge office.

 

The attached form also includes the Early Bird Dinner form for those members who may wish to attend on Jan. 20th. The dinner is just a little incentive for our members to get their dues in early. Members may bring a guest. Please remit your dinner fee and guest fee with your dues.  

 

The attached form also contains the prices for our annual Christmas Eve fish and pastry sales, a service that brother Jamie Kaim, Jr. has been providing for our members for many years now. Please contact Jamie directly with your orders.

 

Lastly, we will be dedicating the memorial bench that has been located on our lodge grounds in memory of brother John W. Salone who passed away in 2022. Monies were donated in his name and a lodge committee chose to purchase a memorial bench in his honor. The dedication ceremony will take place on Sunday Nov. 19th at 2 pm here at the lodge. There will be a brief dedication at the bench with John's family in attendance, followed by a coffee hour in the lodge. All are welcome to attend.

Christmas Fish Sales / Cannoli Sales

 

Brother Jamie Kaim, Jr. will once again be providing our members with the opportunity to buy holiday fish and/or cannoli and crème puffs from the lodge on Christmas Eve – Dec. 24th.

 

The following items will be offered:

 

Fried Breaded Haddock (10 oz)                $6.00 per piece.

Butterfly Shrimp                                           $12.00 per lb.

Calamari                                                        $ 12.00 per lb.
